just want to pop in and say this design and system is very crisp. i havent played it yet but am planning to run it solo with mythic gme 2e and the assorted mythic supplements. i have been looking for a system that has enough crunch, but with PROCEDURES & resource management, and enough interpretive prompting that im not playing a pre-made setting (part of the joy is in creating the world as it plays along). i plan to use your book to sort of hack-the-hack into a dying world/grim-strange fantasy style thing. elric meets stalker meets the expanse. or something. anyway, just want to praise you for the design and layout etc. why dont more designers design like this?????
are you planning to share the SRD or layout files? i would definitely throw you some creds.

hi, i am considering buying for combination solo play & writing/worldbuilding. however unclear on how robust the text editor is and also what the export function is like in terms of transferring the notes/writing into another software for further editing/book writing etc. can you speak to this? thanks!

BROOOOOO... *SPLAT*

were solo rules ever developed for this?

regular file and spreads file seem to be the same fyi

this is genius in terms of design in general

physical copies?

these are great! ive wanted to make a template of something like this for myself but i dont know how to format LOLSOB

any new developments?

cant wait for the spiral bound to arrive in my mutated little claws

this looks amazing, and i will buy when there are solo rules (heres hoping!)

will the print version also contain the solo rules zine?

will there be more print copies?

how solo friendly is this? whats the basic resolution mechanic/system?

i think its a windows 11 bug. i was able to access using my ipad

for some reason i cannot get your kickstarter to load. i would like to back for a physical and subscribe. dariussohei0@gmail.com

would love to be able to buy a physical copy

oh wow, when this is finished i want to print it in a lay flat spiral bound zine

will it be available? thx

this is what i needed first! lol. the main book is a work of art and so complex, i find that many ttrpgs take this hyperdense route first... i like the other way. "what's the minimum viable ruleset to get playing, then add complexity as we go along?"
blessings on your art! love the vibe

im just really wondering about the core game mechanics :)

cool, the visual is very striking and i can see how the aesthetic "works" for the setting. for what im doing i may actually say something like the players can choose 6 keywords and combine them in any way to create powers/abilities. this may solve my dilemma of having to deal with the basic stats, skills, abilities, feats, etc... just mash it all into one mechanic based on evocative words and interpretations.

im also thinking of a higher level mechanic where they have to spend points (qi, fate, fortune, idk yet) to combine more than two words etc. theres something about being able to play those godlike wuxia style figures. not sure how the dice mechanic will work yet, whether its dice pools or d10 roll under, d20 exceed a target number etc... have to playtest.

is there a preview available?

ive started to read through this and the core idea of keys and combining keys to create poetic powers is very cool. i dont know enough about the push system but i may take and hack the poetry-as-power mechanic for the DIY gmless coop rpg i'm designing with my playgroup

clarification on the phrasing used to explain directly opposed tasks:
do u mean that players/characters must roll under their stat and higher than the oppositions roll?

a lot of rules lite games are either too rules lite, or dont have enough optionality beyond combat/fighting. this little zine/booklet packs a wallop. i could see a whole slew of follow up volumes that add onto the core mechanics and ideas of this one little tome of hexcrawl-imagination. i can even see a version that has mythic gm emulator/ironsworn type tables of words for sparking themes/moods/behaviors/etc. the economy of size combined with the clean layout and wonderful little drawings, all make a very professional style book thats easy to read and use, and can fit in a pocket. egads!

feel free to use this review in whatever way you decide

cool, i would playtest solo

can this be played solo? im not familiar with mothership rpg

is there a way to download this one? thx

just off the top of my head, something like a GM emulator that in-world is more like how AI is becoming nowadays. Maya-net/indra-net or something. but has some kind of ghost in the machine vibe meets starforged/ironsworn - so that the world is alive and 'does stuff' that the GM cant predict

not too long, evocative, mysterious but also feels fully lived in. hope to see what else arises from this

this game has some ideas i've been thinking of in terms of my own solo rpg/writing game mixed with various divination techniques. (ive been doing lots of research in terms of popular solo rpg games and some of the scaffolding seems to have been created by ironsworn starforged and mythic gm emulator).

specifically the 3-dimensional cut-ups method of using paper/index cards to create a map/board of a dream-like/multidimensional matrix combined with a jungian-esque improv game of narrative play.

i also quite enjoy ideas in which i can 'play' or follow multiple characters who may never meet but the place or world they are in is affected by their journeys. (think invisible cities meets arabian nights meets vandermeer)

i'd be down to jam/talk about gameplay mechanics and ideas if that's a thing u might enjoy. ppl can find me @ dariussohei0 at gmail dot com

thanks, i got the bigger one anyway, just wanted to make sure

so, how different is this from the main disparateum game on your main site?

i'll come back in a few months when i've properly reviewed your work, cheers!

any solo play variant rules?

is there a solo player variant for this game?
